Dangerous RF Exposure to Teachers

I thought you might find my current discussion with the BC Prov. medical officer of interest.

In the BC Occupational Safety Regulations it says that workers cannot be exposed to a 2b carcinogen if a safer alternative is available.

When radiation from wireless devices received this classification I thought this logically would mean that teachers cannot be around WiFi in schools. When I asked the Director of BC OSS when this would be enforced, he had to ask the provincial medical officer, Dr. Perry Kendall, who is a public health doctor who has no experience or knowledge of microwave radiation. Dr. Kendall said that he had decided this would not apply to WiFi in schools because he felt that microwave radiation did not deserve the 2b classification. He went on to say that the evidence wasn't strong enough for him to take action.

I then asked him how he could cherry pick, and on what basis would this regulation apply to lead, DDT, etc. but not to microwave radiation, and he refused to respond, twice.

I believe this is noteworthy, and something that the public knows nothing about. Why are our children, and teachers, exposed to this potentially dangerous substance when a gardener could not use DDT? This just does not make sense to me.

Would you be able to do some research on this? I betthe same thing applies in other Provinces.
